Vivo V9 Youth launched in India at Rs. 18,990
Vivo has launched a variant of its Vivo V9 smartphone in India - the Vivo V9 Youth. V9 Youth variant runs Funtouch OS 4.0 (based on Android 0.1 Oreo) and is priced at Rs. 18,990. The smartphone is currently available via offline stores and will be available online on Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm Mall and the Vivo E-store from April 24, 2018. Here's our roundup.

The smartphone features a 6.3-inch FullView full-HD+(1080*2280 pixels) LCD display with Corning Gorilla Glass level 3 protection, a 19:9 aspect ratio and an iPhone X-like notch. In terms of dimensions, the dual-SIM smartphone weighs 150 grams and measures 154.8mm x 75.1 mm x 7.9 mm. It comes in two color options - Champagne Gold and Pearl Black. It has 4GB RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage, expandable to 256GB via microSD card.

Artificial Intelligence integration on both the front and rear cameras
The V9 Youth bears an AI-powered dual rear-camera setup; however, the highlight of the phone is its 16MP selfie camera. The rear camera supports HDR and offers features such as touch focus, panorama, face detection etc. The selfie camera also gets AI integration and can record videos at 1080p resolution. Further, the phone packs a 3,260mAh battery.
The all-new game mode and more
Notably, the phone has a 'Game Mode' feature that mutes/hides distractions such as messages and calls etc. while you are playing games. It also has a gaming keyboard that lets you chat while playing. Further, there is a Picture-in-Picture mode that splits the screen for playing games and simultaneously using another app. It is powered by an Octa-core 1.8 GHz Snapdragon 450 SoC processor.
