Vivo V9 expected to launch in India on March 27
With several leaks and renders doing the rounds on the internet, Vivo has finally sent out teaser invites for its upcoming smartphone - the Vivo V9 - slated for a March 27 India launch. Vivo's Malaysia Twitter handle posted teasers confirming the name Vivo V9 while the company's Indonesia social media account posted teasers to reveal its design elements. Here's our Vivo V9 roundup.
Vivo's first phone to feature an iPhone X-like notch
Recent teasers posted by Vivo's social media accounts have given us some insights about the V9 smartphone. The teasers suggest that the V9 will feature edge-to-edge display while sporting an iPhone X-like notch, along with a slim design and a rear-dual camera setup. Notably, a Vivo V9 billboard in Indonesia suggests that the smartphone will feature a new 24MP front camera redesigned for selfies.
Some other details, courtesy rumors and reports
While other specifications are not yet known, a report by GizmoChina suggests that the Vivo V9 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. Another report by The Economic Times, citing IANS sources, says the phone will be priced at around Rs. 25,000. However, what's pretty certain is that the phone will be launched on March 27 in India.
