Vivo V23e 5G's leaked live shots reveal two color options
Vivo is all set to launch its new V-series handset, the V23e 5G, in India on February 21. In the latest development, live images of the handset have surfaced online courtesy of MySmartPrice. The leaked shots show the handset in Midnight Blue and Sunshine Gold color options. To recall, the V23e 5G first made its debut in Thailand last November.
Why does this story matter?
The V23e 5G will be the latest addition to Vivo's portfolio of mid-range smartphones in India. It joins the V23 5G and V23 Pro that were launched earlier this year. The company introduced the Y15S, a budget-range handset, in India on February 18. The debut of the V23e only a handful of days after that shows the aggressive stance Vivo has taken toward India.
The handset sports a 60Hz AMOLED display
The Vivo V23e 5G sports a waterdrop notch design, slim bezels, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. On the rear, it has a vertical camera unit. The handset bears a 6.44-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate and an aspect ratio of 20:9. In India, it will be offered in Midnight Blue and Sunshine Gold color options.
It flaunts a 44MP selfie camera
The Vivo V23e 5G sports a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro lens. Up front, it has a 44MP selfie snapper.
A MediaTek Dimensity 810 chip fuels the device
The Vivo V23e 5G draws power from an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset, coupled with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. At the heart, it boots Android 12-based Funtouch OS 12 and packs a 4,050mAh battery with 44W fast-charging support. For connectivity, the handset offers support for Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi, 5G, GPS, and a Type-C port.
What about the price of Vivo V23e 5G?
The official pricing and availability details of the Vivo V23e 5G will be announced at the time of its launch on February 21. However, based on a previous leak, the handset is tipped to cost around Rs. 26,000.
