Vivo V2118A handset's specifications leaked; should debut under iQOO branding
Vivo is gearing up to launch a new smartphone, codenamed V2118A, soon. In the latest development, the handset has been spotted on China's 3C certification website with 5G and 44W fast-charging support. Separately, tipster Digital Chat Station has claimed that the phone will arrive as an updated version of the iQOO Neo3 model. Here are more details.
The phone will feature a Full-HD+ display
The Vivo V2118A will sport a punch-hole cut-out with a prominent bottom bezel, volume keys on the right side, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for secure authentication of biometric data. The handset is likely to have a 6.57-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2408 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a 480ppi pixel density, an aspect ratio of 20:9, and a 144Hz refresh rate.
It may offer a triple camera setup
At present, there is no information regarding the Vivo V2118A's camera module. However, for reference, the iQOO Neo3 houses a 48MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 2MP macro shooter, and a 16MP selfie snapper.
It will draw power from a Snapdragon 870 processor
The Vivo V2118A will be powered by a Snapdragon 870 chipset, paired with 8GB of RAM. Meanwhile, its storage details are yet to be revealed.
