Ahead of March 26 launch, Vivo V19's pre-bookings commence
Vivo is all set to launch its mid-range handset, the Vivo V19, in India on March 26. And now, citing retail chain sources, a 91mobiles report has claimed that the pre-bookings for the handset are underway via offline stores. Separately, the publication has also revealed the launch offers on the upcoming phone. Here's our roundup.
The handset will feature a dual punch-hole design
The Vivo V19 will come with an in-trend dual punch-hole design. On the rear, it will house a rectangular module to accommodate four cameras. Going by a previous leak, the phone will offer a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with a Full-HD+ (1080x2400 pixels) resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Furthermore, the handset will house an under-display fingerprint sensor for secure biometric authentication.
Plus, it will house a 48MP quad camera
In terms of optics, the Vivo V19 will house a quad-lens rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, an 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a couple of 2MP (f/2.4) lenses for macro photography and depth sensing. For the selfie lovers, the front-facing punch-hole module will house a 32MP primary lens and an 8MP secondary ultra-wide-angle sensor.
The phone will offer 33W fast-charging support
The Vivo V19 will draw power from a Snapdragon 712 octa-core processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage. The handset will run on Android 10-based FunTouch OS 10.0 and pack a solid 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. The standard connectivity options on the phone will include dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
How much will it cost?
Vivo will reveal the official details of the V19 handset on March 26. However, the phone is tipped to be priced around Rs. 25,000 in India. As mentioned before, the pre-bookings for the smartphone are live in the offline market, and buyers can avail 10% cashback using HDFC or ICICI Bank cards and free one-time screen replacement.
