India-specific Vivo V19 to feature a dual punch-hole design: Report
As a successor to the mid-ranger V17 smartphone, Vivo is working on launching the V19 handset in India sometime soon. In the latest update, a Vivo executive has revealed the key specifications of the upcoming phone along with its pricing to 91Mobiles. As per the tip-off, the phone will offer a dual punch-hole design, a 48MP quad-camera, and a Snapdragon 712 chipset. Here's more.
How will it look like?
Going by the tip-off, the Vivo V19 will come with an edge-to-edge screen featuring an in-trend dual punch-hole design. The phone is said to offer a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with a Full-HD+ resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio. On the rear, the glass panel with a curved design will house quad cameras and an LED flash. Moreover, the handset will house an in-display fingerprint reader.

As per leaks, the quad rear camera module on the Vivo V19 will comprise a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, paired with an 8MP (f/2.2) ultrawide sensor, and a couple of 2MP (f/2.4) lenses for depth sensing and macro photography. On the front, the handset will offer a dual selfie camera setup featuring a 32MP primary lens and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
Under the hood
The Vivo V19 will be powered by a Snapdragon 712 octa-core chipset, coupled with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage. Under the hood, it will run Android 10-based FunTouch OS 10 and pack a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. Plus, the phone will also support all the latest connectivity options including Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Type-C port, and headphone jack.
And, how much will it cost?
As for the pocket-pinch, the Vivo V19 is tipped to come at a starting price of around Rs. 25,000. However, the official details will be revealed at the launch event itself, which could happen in the coming weeks. Once launched, the smartphone will take on the likes of Redmi Note 9 Pro Max, Realme 6 Pro, and POCO X2.
