    Vivo V17 Pro to be priced around Rs. 30,000: Report

    Vivo is all set to launch the V17 Pro smartphone in India on September 20.

    And just days ahead of its official launch, TheMobileIndian has claimed that the handset is expected to arrive at a price of Rs. 29,990.

    Meanwhile, the key specifications of the upcoming phone were leaked recently, giving us a fair idea of what the Vivo V17 Pro will offer.

    Design and display

    Vivo V17 Pro: At a glance

    According to the leaks, the Vivo V17 Pro will feature an all-screen notch-less look achieved by adopting a pop-up mechanism for selfie camera. On the rear, it will house vertically stacked four cameras with LED flash and gradient design.

    Further, the handset is expected to come with a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution (1080x2440 pixels) and an under-display fingerprint sensor.

    The quad-lens rear camera setup on the Vivo V17 Pro is expected to comprise a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP (f/2.4) monochrome sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor.

    Up front, the dual-camera pop-up module is tipped to sport a 32MP main camera paired with a 2MP depth sensor.

    According to the leaks, the Vivo V17 Pro will pack a Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor, coupled with upto 8GB RAM and upto 128GB storage.

    The handset is likely to house a 4,100mAh battery and run Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 9.

    Lastly, it should offer all standard sensors and connectivity options such as dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, and a headphone jack.

    And, what about pricing?

    Going by the latest leak, the Vivo V17 Pro may arrive at a price of Rs. 29,990 in India. However, official details will be revealed during the launch event on September 20.

    Once launched, the handset will take on the likes of ASUS 6Z, OnePlus 7, and Redmi K20 Pro.
