Vivo to launch camera-centric V17 Pro on September 20
Vivo is all set to launch the V17 Pro in India on September 20. The Chinese tech giant has confirmed the same via a teaser video on Twitter. Touted as the "world's first 32-megapixel dual pop-up selfie" phone, the handset will be launched at an event, scheduled at 11:15 am, in New Delhi. Here's all about the device.

How will Vivo V17 Pro look like?
As per recent leaks, the Vivo V17 Pro will feature an edge-to-edge notch-less look achieved by adopting a pop-up selfie camera. On the rear, it will house four cameras with LED flash and gradient design. Further, the handset is likely to sport a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD+ (1080x2440 pixels) resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, and an under-display fingerprint sensor.

Talking about optics, the Vivo V17 Pro is tipped to come with a quad-lens rear camera setup comprising a 48MP (f/1.8) primary sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 2MP (f/2.4) monochrome sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. Up front, the handset will reportedly house a dual-camera pop-up module with 32MP main sensor and 2MP depth sensor.
Under the hood
Going by the leaks, the Vivo V17 Pro will pack a Snapdragon 675 octa-core processor, paired with upto 8GB RAM and upto 128GB storage. The handset is said to house a 4,100mAh battery and run Android Pie-based FunTouch OS 9. Furthermore, it would offer all standard sensors and connectivity options such as dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, Type-C port, and a headphone jack.
And, what about pricing?
We expect the Vivo V17 Pro to arrive in India at a price of around Rs. 20,000. However, the official details will be announced by the company during the launch event itself, on September 20.
