V15 Pro with 32MP camera to launch on February 20
As the successor to its popular Vivo V11 Pro, the company is gearing up to launch Vivo V15 Pro in India on February 20. The media invite sent by Vivo teases the upper portion of the handset, revealing its pop-up selfie camera design. Interestingly, some reports claim that V15 Pro will have triple rear cameras and a 32MP selfie snapper. Here's everything we know.
Vivo V15 Pro will look like Vivo Nex
As per the teaser, the Vivo V15 Pro will sport a motorized pop-up selfie camera design - something we saw last year on Vivo Nex. Hence, we expect the upcoming phone to have an all-screen look with the display having full HD+ resolution. Moreover, given V11 Pro came with an in-screen fingerprint sensor, we expect V15 Pro to retain the technology.
V15 Pro to get triple rear cameras, 32MP front camera
According to leaked images of an alleged Vivo V15 Pro case, the phone is likely to feature a triple rear camera setup - an upgrade from its predecessor's dual cameras. However, the specifications of the main camera are unknown as of now. Up front, the motorized pop-up module will house a 32MP selfie camera, according to an India Today report.
Leaked case also highlights the presence of a headphone jack
Under the hood
Considering Vivo V11 Pro came with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, we can expect its successor to run on the upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset. Further, we expect V15 Pro to come with upto 6GB RAM and possibly upto 128GB of internal storage. However, these are mere speculations and we hope to see more leaks and teasers in the run-up to the launch.
Vivo V15 Pro: Launch and expected pricing
As per the teaser, the Vivo V15 Pro will launch in India on February 20. Interestingly, India Today also claims that the company will introduce a Vivo V15 model "soon after the launch of the V15 Pro". Notably, this variant will also feature a pop-up selfie camera. Further, as for pricing, the V15 Pro is rumored to be priced between Rs. 25,000-30,000.
