Chinese tech giants Vivo and Transsion Holdings (owner of TECNO, Infinix, and itel) are gearing up to launch commercial rollable smartphones by the end of 2024. A Transsion brand recently revealed a rollable smartphone concept
Transsion's smartphone brand TECNO recently showcased a rollable smartphone concept called the TECNO PHANTOM Ultimate. This device boasts a 6.55-inch display that expands to 7.11-inch when rolled out, with a resolution of (1596x2296 pixels) and 388ppi pixel density. The screen rolls out from the side using a single-drive motor system and doubles as an always-on display on the back panel.
