Vivo S1's India pricing leaked, will start at Rs. 18,000
Vivo is all set to launch the Vivo S1 smartphone in India on August 7. So far, several leaks have confirmed that the Indian variant will be different from the Chinese Vivo S1 which was launched in March 2019. Now, according to a report, the premium mid-range handset will be launched in three variants with common 128GB storage but 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM options. Here's more.

Up front, the Vivo S1 sports a waterdrop notched design with an ultra-slim bottom bezel. On the rear side, the gradient finished panel houses vertically stacked triple cameras and an LED flash. Further, the phone gets a 6.38-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display (1080*2340 pixels) with 19.5:9 aspect ratio, 90% screen-to-body ratio, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
The Vivo S1 houses a triple rear camera setup comprising a 16MP main sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture to capture depth details. For selfies and video calling, the phone sports a 32MP (f/2.0) front-facing shooter. Moreover, the rear camera can record 4K videos at 30fps, while the selfie camera offers 1080p video recording at 30fps.
Under the hood
The Vivo S1 is fueled by a MediaTek Helio P65 octa-core processor, paired with upto 8GB RAM and 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it is backed by a 4,500mAh battery and runs Android Pie-based Funtouch OS 9. Furthermore, the handset offers all standard sensors and connectivity options including support for dual-SIMs (Nano), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro-USB port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
Finally, what about pricing?
Going by the report, the Vivo S1 will cost Rs. 17,990 for the entry-level 4GB/128GB model, Rs. 19,990 for the mid-end 6GB/128GB model, and Rs. 24,990 for the top-end variant with 8GB/128GB configuration. Lastly, the handset will lock horns with rivals such as Realme X, Redmi K20, and Samsung Galaxy M40.
