Vivo Nex launched in India for Rs. 44,990
As the latest flagship to enter India's fast-growing smartphone market, Vivo has launched the Vivo Nex. Priced at Rs. 44,990, the Vivo flagship will go sale starting July 21 via Amazon, Vivo India e-store, and select offline stores. The phone features a notch-less, edge-to-edge, full-screen design with a slim bottom bezel. On the back, you have a reflective panel with vertically stacked dual camera setup and an LED flash. Vivo Nex sports a 6.59-inch Full HD+ resolution (2316 x 1080) Super AMOLED display with a 19.3:9 aspect ratio, and a massive 91.24% screen-to-body ratio.

On the back, the phone sports a dual camera setup comprising a 12MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and a 5MP secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. The primary camera supports 4k video recording, AI-based scene detection, AR stickers and Google Lens mode. Up front, Vivo Nex gets a motorized 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera which supports Portrait Mode, AR Stickers and Face Beauty.

The Vivo flagship is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor clocked up to 2.8GHz, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage (non-expandable). The Vivo Nex runs Funtouch OS 4.0 which is based on Android Oreo 8.1, and packs a massive 4,000mAh battery with support for fast-charging.

In terms of connectivity options, the Vivo Nex supports dual-SIM (Nano) cards with dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11a/c, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/A-GPS, USB Type-C with OTG support, and 3.5mm headphone jack. Its sensors include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, digital compass, and virtual gyroscope.
