Vivo launches gaming-centric iQoo Neo 855 smartphone
Chinese tech giant Vivo has launched the performance-oriented iQoo Neo 855 smartphone in its home country. The gaming-centric phone comes as an upgrade to the iQoo Neo handset, which was launched in China in July. The iQoo Neo 855 sports an edge-to-edge screen with waterdrop notched design and an ultra-slim bottom bezel. On the rear, the glass panel houses vertically stacked triple camera module and an LED flash. The smartphone sports a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with a full-HD+ resolution, HDR10 support, and DC Dimming technology for flicker-free experience. Further, it also gets an under-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking.

In the camera department, the iQoo Neo 855 sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 12MP (f/1.8) main sensor, 8MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor. For selfies, video calling, and face unlock, there is a 12MP (f/2.0) front-facing snapper. Moreover, the main camera can record 4K videos at 30fps, while the selfie camera supports 1080p video recording at 30fps.

The iQoo Neo 855 is powered by flagship grade Snapdragon 855 processor. The company has paired this chipset with upto 8GB RAM and upto 256GB of UFS 3.0 storage. The handset packs a solid 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support. It also gets liquid cooling technology and a couple of software boosters like Game Magic Box and Game Space 2.5 for improved gaming experience.
Connectivity options and sensor details
The Vivo iQoo Neo 855 comes with support for latest connectivity options including dual-SIMs (Nano), dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, VoLTE, Type-C port, and headphone jack. The handset packs all standard sensors such as an accelerometer, proximity, gyroscope, and e-compass.

As for the pocket pinch, the Vivo iQoo Neo 855 starts at CNY 1,998 (approximately Rs. 20,000) for the entry-level 6GB/64GB model and goes upto CNY 2,698 (approximately Rs. 27,000) for the top-end variant with 8GB/256GB configuration. The pre-orders for the phone are live and it will go on sale in China on October 31.
