Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip and flagship S20 series may have grabbed much of the highlights and headlines but the Indian market will soon be abuzz with new offerings. Over the next few weeks, we expect to see a bunch of interesting handsets such as the Huawei P40 range, OnePlus 8 series, and some others. Here's a look at some of the notable names!
OnePlus 8 Pro
OnePlus is set to announce its flagship, the OnePlus 8 Pro, on April 15. As per a fresh leak, the handset will sport a punch-hole design featuring a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with QHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 865 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB RAM, and a 4,510mAh battery with 30W wired and wireless fast-charging support.
The phone will offer a 48MP quad camera
For photography, the OnePlus 8 Pro will offer a 48MP primary sensor coupled with another 48MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, and a 5MP portrait lens. Up front, it will house a 16MP selfie snapper.
Huawei P40 Pro
The recently announced Huawei P40 Pro gets an in-trend dual punch-hole design with curved edges. The phone sports a 6.58-inch OLED screen with a Full-HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, and an under-display fingerprint reader. Under the hood, it packs Kirin 990 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 4,200mAh battery that supports 40W wired and 27W wireless flash charging.
Huawei P40 Pro offers impressive cameras as well
The triple camera setup on the Huawei P40 Pro comprises a 50MP (f/1.9) primary sensor, a 40MP (f/1.8) ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 12MP (f/3.4) telephoto lens. Up front, it houses a selfie camera comprising a 32MP main sensor.
Google Pixel 4a
Google is likely to announce its mid-range handset, the Pixel 4a, soon. According to the leaks, the phone will come with a punch-hole design and offer a 5.8-inch display with a Full-HD+ resolution. Under the hood, the phone will be backed by a Snapdragon 730G chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, and a 3,080mAh battery.
Google Pixel 4a: For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers
In the imaging department, the Google Pixel 4a is said to offer a single rear camera with a 12.2MP primary sensor. Up front, the handset would house an 8MP snapper for selfies, video calling, and face unlock.
Redmi K30 Pro
Lastly, the recently announced Redmi K30 Pro will reportedly be launched in India as POCO F2 in the coming months. The phone comes with a notch-less and bezel-less design featuring a 6.67-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED screen and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It draws power from a Snapdragon 865 processor and a 4,700mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
The Redmi K30 Pro offers 64MP quad camera for shutterbugs
The Redmi K30 Pro houses a quad-camera setup comprising a 64MP (f/1.69) primary sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide angle sensor, a 5MP telephoto lens, and another 2MP depth sensor. For the selfie lovers, the phone offers a 20MP motorized pop-up camera.
