#TwitterDown: Twitter is down and no one knows why
Is Twitter down? That's what it looks like for at least some users, and they are not happy customers. Several people are getting directly logged out of the website, while some are reporting search results not being shown. The error message reads, "Something went wrong, but don't fret — it's not your fault." Well, whomsoever's fault it may be, #TwitterDown seems to be trending.
Issue was reported at around 5:10pm
We do not know what has caused this outage or how many people have been impacted by it. Prima facie, both desktop and mobile app users are affected. A quick check of Downdetector tells us that people started reporting about Twitter outage at around 5:10pm IST. There is no official word from the microblogging platform so far.
