Top 5 smartphones coming to India in April
Just three months into 2019 and we've seen some of the biggest smartphones launches - Galaxy Fold, Huawei P30 Pro, Galaxy S10-series, and Nokia 9 PureView. However, not all of them are presently available in India. That said, as we enter the second quarter, there are several money suckers waiting to arrive in the country soon. Here is what's coming in Q2 2019.
Samsung Galaxy Fold: Expected to launch on April 26
Like the US, Samsung's Galaxy Fold is expected to become available in India on April 26. To recall, the $1,980 worth foldable phone features a 4.58-inch HD+ external screen, a 7.3-inch QHD+ Infinity Flex display, and a total of six cameras. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM, 512GB of UFS 3.0 storage, and 4,380mAh battery.
Huawei P30 Pro: Expected to launch in April 2019
Huawei's camera-beast, the P30 Pro is listed as "Coming Soon" on Amazon India. It features a 6.47-inch full-HD+ OLED screen, IP68-rated build quality, and in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone, expected to start at Rs. 78,000, boasts of a 40MP+20MP+8MP+ToF quad-camera setup and a 32MP selfie camera. Lastly, P30 Pro runs on Kirin 980 chipset, paired with 8GB RAM, 128GB/256GB/512GB of storage, and 4,200mAh battery.
Nokia 9 PureView: Expected to launch in April 2019
HMD Global has started teasing Nokia 9 PureView in India, hinting at its imminent launch. Expected to cost around Rs. 45,000, the phone comes with a 5.99-inch Quad-HD+ screen and an in-display fingerprint sensor. It features a novel five-camera setup with 12MP sensors and a 20MP front camera. Under the hood, there's a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 6GB RAM, 128GB storage and 3,320mAh battery.
Realme 3 Pro: Confirmed to be launched in April 2019
Alongside Realme 3, the company had announced to launch Realme 3 Pro in India in April. The budget-range phone will feature a Dot Notch display with Gorilla Glass 5 protection, 2.5D glass body, gradient design, and a plastic frame. It will also offer a 48MP rear camera, 13MP selfie camera, Snapdragon 675 chipset with Adreno 612 GPU, 4,000mAh battery and MIUI 10 software.
OnePlus 7: Expected to launch in May
Going by the company's launch cycle, OnePlus 7 is expected to launch in India in May 2019. Reportedly, the phone will feature an all-screen design, in-display fingerprint sensor, and an all-glass body. It will offer a 48MP+20MP+5MP triple camera setup and a 16MP pop-up selfie camera. Lastly, it will run on a Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage.
