Realme U1 3GB RAM goes on open sale from today
The 3GB RAM variant of the recently launched Realme U1 will go on open sale via Amazon and Realme's e-store from December 17. The key highlights of the phone are its full-HD+ waterdrop notched display, a powerful 25MP selfie camera, and the latest MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. In India, the Realme U1 starts at Rs. 11,999. Realme U1 4GB RAM will be available via flash sale
As of now, only the 3GB RAM variant of Realme U1 will go on open sale. Moreover, the company has announced that the 4GB RAM option will be available via flash sale on December 19 at 12 noon via Amazon and the company's e-store. It costs Rs. 11,999 for the 3GB RAM/32GB storage variant and Rs. 14,999 for the 4GB RAM/64GB storage model.
Realme U1: At a glance
In terms of design, the Realme U1 looks a lot like Realme 2 Pro. Up front, the phone sports a Dewdrop notched display with a slim bottom chin. On the back, there's a dual-rear camera setup and a fingerprint scanner housed in a polycarbonate casing. Further, Realme U1 features a 6.3-inch (1080x2340 pixels) full-HD+ display with 90.8% screen-to-body ratio and 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection.

In terms of optics, the Realme U1 sports a dual rear-camera comprising a 13MP (f/2.2) main sensor and a 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensor, paired with LED flash. Up front, the phone features a 25MP (f/2.0) Sony IMX576 sensor with 296 facial detection points and AI-based features such as Night shot brightness for bokeh effect and beautification.

The Realme U1 is powered by MediaTek Helio P70 processor, paired with ARM G72 GPU, and offers 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage (expandable upto 256GB) It runs Android Oreo 8.1-based ColorOS 5.2 OS and packs a 3,500mAh battery. Further, the phone comes with standard sensors and connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, micro-USB port, and 3.5mm headphone jack.
