Android One-based Nokia 6.1 Plus now available via offline retailers
The Nokia 6.1 Plus, which has been available online since launch, will now be up for grabs via offline retailers as well. Reportedly, HMD Global has also slashed the prices of the phone by Rs. 500 and it will now retail for Rs. 15,499 across all sales platforms. Here's more.

Given Nokia 6.1 Plus is a rebranded version of Nokia X6, it retains the same specifications and design. The phone features a notch-based display, a prominent chin and a vertically positioned dual rear camera setup - a design seen on the Nokia X6. Further, there's a 5.8-inch full-HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus sports a dual rear camera setup comprising a 16MP (f/2.0) primary sensor with 1-micron pixels, and a secondary 5MP monochrome sensor with 1.12-micron pixels. Up front, the smartphone gets a 16MP sensor with an f/2.0 aperture and 1-micron pixels. The main camera can record upto 2160p videos at 30fps while the selfie camera can record 1080p videos at 30fps.

The phone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 400GB via microSD card. Moreover, the Nokia 6.1 Plus runs stock Android Oreo 8.1 out-of-the-box (now upgradeable to Android Pie), supports dual-SIM (Nano) cards and packs a 3,060mAh battery with support for fast charging.

Sensors onboard the phone include an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
