These Xiaomi smartphones have received MIUI 11 update in India
Just weeks after announcing its latest Android-based MIUI 11 OS in India, Xiaomi has started rolling out the update for several of its smartphones including the Redmi K20-series, Poco F1, and Note 7-series. The update brings a host of new features including a dark mode, video wallpaper, gaming mode, and system-wide performance improvements. Here's a list of the smartphones that have received MIUI 11.
First, what's new in MIUI 11?
The MIUI 11 comes with a lot of UI improvements and bug fixes to enhance the performance. The new interface brings handy features such as a dark mode, video wallpaper, and a floating calculator to perform calculations instantly while doing other tasks. In addition, the update brings a new gaming mode, a menstrual tracker for women, an improved file manager app, and more.
Redmi K20 Pro: The affordable flagship
The Redmi K20 Pro, listed at a starting price of Rs. 27,999, has received the latest MIUI update. With the new custom interface, users can now enjoy a better full-screen experience, thanks to its notch-less and bezel-less 6.39-inch full-HD+ AMOLED display. The phone also comes with a motorized pop-up selfie camera, a 4,000mAh battery, triple rear cameras, and flagship-grade internals including Snapdragon 855 chipset.
Poco F1: Xiaomi's 2018 flagship also gets the latest OS
Available at a starting price of Rs. 17,999, Xiaomi's last year's flagship, the Poco F1, has also received the new update. The phone comes with a 6.18-inch notched display with a full-HD+ resolution and a physical fingerprint scanner. Powering the handset is a Snapdragon 845 processor, upto 8GB RAM, upto 256GB storage, and a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support.
Redmi Note 7 Pro: A complete value-for-money package
The best-selling smartphone of Q2 2019, the Redmi Note 7 Pro, now offers all the goodies of MIUI 11. The budget-friendly phone comes with an all-glass body, a 6.3-inch full-HD+ display, and 48MP dual rear-camera. It packs a Snapdragon 675 processor, upto 6GB RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging technology. The smartphone is available at a starting price of Rs. 13,999.
Redmi Y3: A budget smartphone for selfie lovers
Redmi Y3, a pocket friendly phone for selfie lovers, now offers a host of new features and enhanced performance, courtesy the MIUI 11 update. Starting at Rs. 8,999, the phone sports a 6.26-inch HD+ display, a rear-mounted fingerprint reader, dual rear cameras and a respectable 32MP selfie snapper. Further, the handset draws power from a Snapdragon 632 processor, and a solid 4,000mAh battery.
Redmi 7: An affordable phone to satisfy basic smartphone needs
Redmi 7, which comes at a starting price of Rs. 7,499, has also received the all-new custom interface. The smartphone features a 6.26-inch HD+ screen, dual rear cameras, and a physical fingerprint sensor for authentication. Under the hood, it has a Snapdragon 632 processor, upto 3GB RAM, and a 4,000mAh battery.

Besides the aforementioned models, Xiaomi has also rolled out the MIUI 11 update for other popular smartphones including the Redmi K20, Redmi Note 7, and Redmi Note 7S. In the second phase, the Chinese tech giant will release the update for the Redmi 6, Redmi 6 Pro, Redmi 6A, and Redmi Note 5 series models among others.
