These Xiaomi, OnePlus, Huawei smartphones will get Android Q update
Google is currently working on the next iteration of its mobile software. Titled Android Q, the operating system is expected to be released sometime in Fall. However, OEMs such as Xiaomi, OnePlus, Huawei and others have already started sharing their Android Q roadmap, thereby confirming the handsets that would get the latest OS. These Xiaomi phones will get Android Q update
Xiaomi recently announced that 11 of its smartphones will get the Android Q update. The list includes the Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi Note 7 Pro, Redmi Note 7, Mi MIX 2S, Mi MIX 3, Mi 9, Mi 9SE and Mi 8 among others. Separately, Pocophone head Alvin Tse has confirmed that the 2018's Poco F1 will also get Android Q update.
Which OnePlus phones will receive Android Q update?
OnePlus has been pretty proactive when it comes to providing updates for its phones and this year will be no exception. The company has announced that Android Q will come to OnePlus 6, OnePlus 6T, OnePlus 7, and OnePlus 7 Pro.
Will Huawei handsets get Android Q update?
With the ongoing trade ban, concerns prevail as to which Huawei phones will receive Android Q update. However, in an official post, the Chinese tech giant has announced that "all Huawei smartphones and tablets will continue to receive security patches and Android updates." The company has also shared the names of all the phones that would receive the Android Q update.

Huawei's P30 Pro, P30, P20 Pro, P20, Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro, Porsche Design Mate 20 RS, P30 Lite, P smart 2019, P smart+ 2019, P smart Z, Mate 20 X, Mate 20 X (5G), Mate 10 Pro, Porsche Design Mate 10, Mate 10, and Mate 20 Lite will get Android Q. Moreover, we also expect the all-new Honor 20-series to get the update.
Meanwhile, all of Google Pixel phones will get Android Q
Google has confirmed that all of its Pixel phones will receive Android Q update. Hence, Google Pixel, Pixel XL, Google Pixel 2, Pixel 2 XL, Google Pixel 3, Pixel 3 XL, Google Pixel 3a, and Pixel 3a XL models will get the latest Android firmware.
