Realme has started rolling out the latest ColorOS update for its recently launched Realme 2 and Realme C1 smartphones. This firmware update brings the Android security patch for November and fixes general bugs. The update is being released in a phased manner via over-the-air (OTA) method. This ColorOS update, with build number RMX1805EX_11_A.19, updates the Android security patch to November and fixes general bugs on the Realme 2 and Realme C1. These security updates, which fix possible vulnerabilities, are small but important releases under Android's monthly security update program. Further, the update may not be available for everyone just yet, considering the rollout is being done in a phased manner.
Realme to soon release ColorOS 5.2 update
Realme will soon release its newest ColorOS 5.2 update for its phones. The update will bring features like single-swipe notification dismiss option, a headset icon, and fixes for developer options' flashing. The company has confirmed that Realme 1 will get ColorOS 5.2 firmware on November 25 or later while the Realme 2 and Realme C1 are expected to get the update by December end.

The Realme 2 features a 6.2-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) display, a 13MP+2MP dual rear-camera setup, and an 8MP selfie snapper. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, paired with 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB). Under the hood, the phone packs a 4,230mAh battery, supports dual-SIM (Nano) cards and runs Android Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1.

The Realme C1 sports a 6.2-inch HD+ (720x1520 pixels) display, a 13MP+2MP dual rear-camera setup, and a 5MP front camera with Face Unlock support. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 450 processor, paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage (expandable up to 256GB). Further, like Realme 2, the C1 packs a 4,230mAh battery, supports dual-SIMs (Nano), and runs Android Oreo-based ColorOS 5.1.
