These Huawei and Honor phones are receiving Android 10 update
Chinese tech giant Huawei and its sub-brand Honor have started rolling-out their respective Android 10-based EMUI 10 and Magic UI 3.0 updates to some of their premium smartphones. These updates bring a new user interface, new animations, improved performance, dark mode, as well as bug fixes, among other features. Here's a list of all the smartphones receiving the latest Android 10 update.
Huawei P30 Pro: The flagship handset with DSLR-like cameras
Huawei P30 Pro, the DSLR-killer flagship, has started receiving EMUI 10 update. With new dark mode and 6.47-inch OLED screen, the handset will now offer enhanced browsing experience and improved battery life. The phone offers 40MP quad rear cameras supporting 5x optical zoom and a mighty 32MP selfie snapper. Lastly, it packs Kirin 980 chipset and a 4,200mAh battery with 40W fast-charging technology.
Huawei Mate 20X: A premium all-rounder
The Huawei Mate 20X has also started receiving a host of new features like an always-on display, multi-screen collaboration and more, thanks to the EMUI 10 update. The handset offers a massive 7.2-inch OLED screen with a full-HD+ resolution, 40MP triple rear cameras, and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, it houses a Kirin 980 processor, upto 256GB storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.
Huawei Mate 20 Pro: A powerful handset with promising specs
Huawei's last year flagship, the Mate 20 Pro, has also received the latest EMUI 10 update. Up front, the handset features a 6.39-inch QHD+ OLED screen with a wide notch, while on the rear, the dual-tone gradient finished panel houses 40MP triple cameras. The IP68-rated phone draws power from Kirin 980 chipset and a 4,200mAh battery with 40W wired and 15W wireless fast-charging technology.
Honor 20 Pro: A camera-centric phone with powerful chipset
Meanwhile, the Honor 20 Pro, which went official earlier this year, has started receiving the Magic UI 3.0 update. Thanks to its 48MP quad rear cameras and new video shooting feature, the handset will now offer an improved videography experience. The smartphone houses a Kirin 980 chipset, a respectable 32MP selfie snapper, and a 4,000mAh battery with 22.5W fast-charging technology.
Honor View 20: Checks all the right boxes
Lastly, the Honor View 20 has also started receiving the all-new Magic UI 3.0 update and it now boasts of faster performance. The handset offers a punch-hole design featuring a 6.4-inch LCD screen with a full-HD+ resolution, a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, and 48MP dual rear cameras. Moreover, it packs a Kirin 980 processor, coupled with upto 8GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 4,000mAh battery.
EMUI 10 also brings a new HiCar connectivity feature
Besides the aforementioned smartphones, Huawei Mate 20, Huawei P30, and Honor 20 have also started receiving the latest Android 10-based OS update. Notably, for Huawei smartphone, the EMUI 10 firmware also brings a new HiCar connectivity feature as a replacement to Android Auto.
