All about the new Nokia 7!
The Nokia 7, the second smartphone after Nokia 8 to feature a "bothie" camera, is coming to China on October 24. There will be two variants: 4GB RAM and 64GB storage (Rs. 24,700) or 6GB RAM and 128GB storage (Rs. 26,710). Customers will be able to go for Gloss Black or Matte White. There's no word on its India launch yet.
Features of Nokia's latest smartphone
The Nokia 7 comes with a 5.2-inch display,1080 pixel LCD screen and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat, upgradeable to Android 8, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor and a 3000mAh battery. A "3D glass curvature back" and a 7000 series aluminum frame with diamond-cut beveled edges set it apart.
It will be the second smartphone with the "bothie" camera
Nokia's signature feature is the Dual-Sight technology - it lets users click pictures and videos with the 5MP front camera and 16MP back camera simultaneously and capturing "both sides of the story" to create "bothies", somewhat similar to Samsung's 2013 Galaxy S4.
The latest offering from HMD Global
This is another product from HMD Global, which debuted its range of Nokia-branded phones from earlier this year. In February, it launched the Nokia 3,5 and 6 along with the refurbished Nokia 3310, all below Rs. 15,000. In August came the high-end Nokia 8, which sold for Rs. 37,000. The Finnish company is working on two more smartphones - the Nokia 9 and 2.
