First unveiled at Tesla's AI Day event in 2021, the Optimus has been marketed by Musk as an essential product for the company's future.

Since its debut, Tesla has showcased different iterations of the Tesla Bot walking, carrying things, and interacting with humans.

Optimus's capabilities and commercial availability
Back in October 2024, Musk had demonstrated the humanoid bots and touted their capabilities to be nearly limitless.
The Optimus can now do things such as walk your dog, babysit, mow the lawn, and also serve drinks.
Musk has teased we could see the bot hitting the market very soon. He had also predicted the cost of the bot to be between $20,000 and $30,000.
