Telegram now lets you create custom stickers within the app
Telegram, a popular messaging platform, has launched an advanced sticker editor, which is available to both free and Premium subscribers. The introduction of this innovative tool precedes the release of 16 other enhancements that the company plans to announce by the end of the month. The new sticker editor allows users to create stickers and sticker sets directly within the app, eliminating the need for external tools or platforms.
Wide range of editing capabilities
The sticker editor is equipped with a variety of editing features. Users can take a photo and add text, drawings, animated stickers, emojis, and GIFs to it. These additions are already integrated into the app for user convenience. The editor also provides options to cut out objects and remove backgrounds from images. Additionally, users can manually erase and restore parts of their photo or add an outline for a classic look.
AI technology integrated for sticker set creation
In addition to creating individual stickers, users can also compile sets of stickers. Each sticker can be added to a set by selecting emojis that represent it. Telegram will use AI technology to suggest the appropriate emoji based on the image used in the sticker. This feature provides an innovative way for users to personalize and organize their sticker collections within the app.
Sharing custom-made sticker sets
Telegram's new sticker editor also allows users to share their custom-made sticker sets with others. When a user sends a sticker created in the new editor to another person, the recipient can tap on it to add the entire set to their collection. Each sticker set comes with its unique link, making sharing and access effortless for all users.
