TECNO SPARK 7P smartphone, with a 90Hz display, goes official
Chinese smartphone maker TECNO has unveiled a new model called the SPARK 7P. The handset is a successor to the recently-launched SPARK 7 in India. As for the key highlights, the device comes with a 90Hz HD+ display, a triple rear camera setup, a MediaTek Helio G70 chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery. Here are more details.
The device is offered in four color options
TECNO SPARK 7P features a waterdrop notched design with a noticeable bottom bezel. The gradient-finished back panel houses a triple camera module and a physical fingerprint reader. The handset comes with a 6.8-inch HD+ (720x1640 pixels) IPS LCD screen with a 90Hz refresh rate. It is offered in four color options: Alps Blue, Magnet Black, Spruce Green, and Summer Mojito.
It offers Full-HD video recording
TECNO SPARK 7P sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 16MP primary sensor. Details regarding the other two lenses have not been disclosed. For selfies, there is an 8MP front-facing snapper. The rear and front cameras can record Full-HD videos at 30fps.
It draws power from a Helio G70 processor
TECNO SPARK 7P is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G70 chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB of storage. Under the hood, it runs on Android 11-based HiOS 7.5 and packs a 5,000mAh battery with 14 days of claimed standby life. For connectivity, the device offers support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a headphone jack, and a micro-USB port.

The official pricing and availability details of the TECNO SPARK 7P are yet to be revealed. However, for reference, the vanilla SPARK 7 model is priced at Rs. 6,999-7,999 in India.
