Is your partner cheating? New app reveals their Tinder activity!
Do you feel your partner might be going on Tinder behind your back? Thanks to a new app, their (possible) straying ways might soon be over. Swipe Buster allows you to input basic details of someone who has a Tinder profile, and it will reveal details like when they last swiped on the app! The service costs $6.99 for three searches.
How does it work?
It's a simple procedure. One thing you have to understand is Tinder retrieves information from a person's Facebook profile. Visit www.swipebuster.se. Now enter the target's first name as mentioned on Facebook, age, and likely location where they might have used Tinder last. "Be as accurate as possible," the website warns about location. Make the payment, and voila.
'Main issue was privacy, not exposing cheating partners'
Swipe Buster says its purpose wasn't to catch cheating partners, but to shed light on lack of privacy. "This isn't a Tinder-specific issue. People have way too much information about themselves available publicly, and should be aware of privacy settings," a spokesperson said. To access data on Tinder, they adopted the same technologies used by other third-party apps like Tinderly or Bonfire for Tinder.
So are people's privacy in danger due to this app?
According to both Tinder and Swipe Buster, no. The latter only uses the information on Tinder that is publicly available. Tinder proposes a simpler solution: "If you want to see who's on Tinder, we recommend saving your money and downloading the app for free."
