Suzuki Access 125, Access 125 Special Edition launched in India
Suzuki Motorcycle India has launched the Access 125 and Access Special Edition as its latest gear-less scooters in India. In a bid to level-up with its competitors, the new Access 125 gets Combined Braking System (CBS). The Suzuki Access 125 costs Rs. 59,980, while the Special Edition model has been priced at Rs. 60,580. Here's more about the Access 125 series.
Understanding Combined Braking System (CBS)
A CBS unit facilitates the operation of both the front and rear brakes by using only the front-brake lever (left brake lever). This provides with a more controlled stopping power on the scooter and reduces braking distance, without losing control.

Additionally, the scooter is built on a rigid frame layout which aims to provide straight-line stability and improved cornering performance. Moreover, the Access 125 also gets steel front fender and leg shield for added protection.
What's different on the Access 125 Special Edition?
Apart from all the above-mentioned features, the Suzuki Access 125 Special Edition comes with the black-colored alloy-wheels and grab rail, round shaped chrome mirrors, and a logo emblem, to set it apart from the standard model. The special edition will be offered in two exclusive shades, Metallic Matte Black and Pearl Mirage White, which comes along with contrasting beige colored leatherette seats.
Under the hood
The Access 125 is powered by the 124cc single-cylinder engine which is tuned to generate 8.5 bhp and 10.2 Nm of peak torque. The automatic scooter gets telescopic forks up front and a mono-shock unit at the rear. For its braking performance, it gets a front disc brake and a drum unit at the rear with support for CBS.
