Sony launches WF-XB700 earbuds and ANC-equipped WH-CH710N headphones
Expanding its range of audio products, Sony has launched a pair of new earbuds and headphones. The truly-wireless WF-XB700 earbuds come as an affordable version of the flagship WF-1000XM3, but they miss out on active noise cancellation (ANC). Alongside the earbuds, the company has also introduced a pair of ANC-equipped WH-CH710N over-ear bluetooth headphones that come as an upgraded version of the WH-CH700N.
Sony WF-XB700 offers physical controllers and in-ear design
The Sony WF-XB700 comes with a splash-proof, in-ear design with an "ergonomic tri-hold structure" that is touted to offer a secure fit. For controlling music and volume as well as managing calls, it has physical buttons mounted on the sides. The earbuds are part of the company's Extra Bass series and are claimed to offer thumping bass experience.
The earbuds offer 9 hours of playtime on single charge
The Sony WF-XB700 offers a battery life of up to 9 hours on a single charge while the carry-cum-charging case holds one additional recharge. Moreover, a 10-minute charge in the case gives 60 minutes of playtime.
The WH-CH710N headphones come with ANC, 35-hours battery life
Separately, the WH-CH710N headphones feature an over-ear design with cushioned earcups and polycarbonate body. It also supports NFC and Bluetooth technologies for connectivity. Further, the headphones offer improved dual-mic active noise-cancellation for an immersive listening experience. As for battery life, the WH-CH710N offers up to 35 hours of playing time on a single charge.
