IPL 2018: Snapchat partners with four teams, creates official accounts
Snapchat has partnered with four IPL teams: Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Daredevils, and Rajasthan Royals. The four teams will now have official Snapchat accounts during the entirety of IPL 2018, and through that will post official Stories on the photo-sharing platform. This is Snapchat's first major partnership with a sporting event in India. IPL 2018 is being held from April 7-May 27.
Subscribe to IPL teams' official Stories on Snapchat
Users can search for the names of the four IPL teams on Snapchat and then subscribe to their stories. The official Snaps by the teams will be featured in the Discover section of the app. This content will reportedly be exclusive glimpses of the action on the cricket ground that won't be available anywhere else.

Snapchat releases custom Stickers, Filters, Lenses for IPL 2018
Snapchat has released custom Stickers, Filters, and Lenses for IPL 2018. Using Lenses in your Story will transform you into a helmeted player with a cricket bat in the front and the team anthem in the background. To try out the Lenses of each team, users can scan a particular team's Snapcode and its Lens will be available for their Stories for 24 hours.
Leveraging the IPL frenzy
So far, the Airtel TV app is offering free, unlimited access to IPL 2018, Reliance Jio has launched a cricket pack for Rs. 251, Hotstar has launched a sports-only subscription plan for Rs. 299, and BSNL has launched an IPL prepaid pack for Rs. 248.
