Priced at just Rs. 7,999 and weighing 160 gm, Smartron's t.phone P offers a massive 5,000mAh battery along with a dedicated OTG Reverse Charge technology that enables you to charge other USB devices as well. What are its unique offerings?
Smartron's latest offering, with its massive battery, aims to deliver 24-hours of Internet browsing, 16 hours for watching YouTube videos, 40 hours of voice calls and a whopping 350 hours of standby time. For all the serious phone lovers, t.phone P offers 1,000GB of free cloud storage over and above a 32GB internal storage that is expandable up to 128GB.
Powerful on the inside, premium on the outside
The phone has a 5.2-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass and offers a premium metal body finish. For the shutterbugs and selfie lovers, the phone offers a f2.2 aperture for both the 13MP rear and a 5MP front shooter. Packed with manual controls and various shooting modes, the phone flaunts a front and rear LED flash as well.
Under the hood: Details
The phone comes in with a rear fingerprint sensor on the back panel. However, it has been reported that the sensor is slow, and there is a slight lag. Out-of-the-box, the phone runs on Android Nougat 7.1.1 and supports 4G VoLTE along with support for other standard networks. It also comes with other sensors like the Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Proximity Sensor and Ambient Light Sensor.
