Share the nostalgia: How to repost Instagram flashback stories
What's the story
Instagram's "Flashback Stories" or "On This Day" feature allows users to reshare past memories.
It's a great way to reminisce and remind followers of special moments from previous years on the same date.
From past vacations, fun videos, or significant life events, sharing these memories can add a personal touch to your stories.
Here is how to use it on Android.
Step-by-step
Accessing your memories
Open Instagram on your Android and sign in.
Swipe left or tap the + sign to open the Story camera.
Select "Create" and scroll to "On This Day." If you don't see it, you don't have any memories for today. You can check back tomorrow to see if you have any then.
Personalize your memory
Customizing and sharing your Flashback Story
Choose a memory from On This Day and tap the shutter to get creative.
Your memory is now a movable, resizable sticker. Spice it up by changing the background color, adding text, stickers, music, or whatever you fancy.
Share your memory to your story or send it directly to a friend.
Discover more memories by tapping the clock-like icon at the top right on your profile page.
