Samsung is gearing to launch a new rugged smartphone, the Galaxy XCover 5, soon. In the latest development, WinFuture has revealed the entire specifications and prices of the handset. As per the report, the Galaxy XCover 5 will come an Exynos 850 chipset, a 3,000mAh battery, NFC, a flashlight function, support for mPOS solutions, and a single rear camera. Here's our roundup.

The Galaxy XCover 5 will feature a rectangular screen with chunky bezels on the top and bottom. It will be IP68-certified for dust and water resistance and meet the US military standard 810G for durability. The handset will come with a 5.3-inch HD+ (720x1600 pixels) TFT LCD screen. It will also offer support for mPOS solutions, making it suitable for business needs as well.
The Galaxy XCover 5 will sport a 16MP rear camera
The Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 will reportedly house a single 16MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture. On the front, it will pack a 5MP (f/2.2) selfie and video calling camera.
Samsung Xcover 5 will draw power from Exynos 850 processor
Samsung Galaxy Xcover 5 will be fueled by an octa-core Exynos 850 processor, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. It will run on Android 11 with One UI interface on top and pack a 3,000mAh removable battery with 15W fast-charging support. The handset will also support NFC, Samsung Knox, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, a headphone jack, and a micro-USB port.

The official launch and pricing details of the Galaxy XCover 5 have not been revealed as of now. However, according to WinFuture, the smartphone will be priced "just under €300" ( roughly Rs. 26,400).
