Samsung unveils its 2018 lineup of TVs in India
Samsung has launched its 2018 range of televisions in India to refresh its QLED, mid-range UHD, and 'Make for India' Concert range of smart TVs. The Korean electronics giant has introduced 6 new models in its UHD range and 2 new models in its QLED lineup, which now starts at Rs. 64,900 and Rs. 2,45,000 respectively. About the Samsung QLED range of TVs
These TVs, with Quantum dot LED (QLED) displays, will be available in 8 different models ranging from 55-inch to 75-inch. These Samsung flagship TVs support up to 2,000 units of HDR brightness, wider viewing angle, and represent almost 100% of the color volume. Moreover, QLED displays have a longer lifespan than OLED and hence Samsung is offering a 10-year panel warranty on these TVs.

Coined and trademarked by Samsung, QLED display is essentially an LED display that uses quantum dots to enhance picture quality. Quantum dots don't directly emit colors but instead act as filters to refine lthe ight emitted by LEDs and thus produce an ideal color temperature.
About the Samsung 2018 QLED TVs
The QLED lineup gets an 'Ambient Mode' that blends with the background by using a photo (via Smart Things app) of the background to create a matching look on the TV screen. The Smart Things app also lets you connect the TV to IoT devices and mirror your smartphone's screen. These TVs come with an 'Invisible Connection' cable which transmits both power and data.
About the Samsung 2018 UHD lineup of TVs
The 2018 UHD range of TVs get HDR support, Samsung's Dynamic Crystal Color technology, Bluetooth and S-Voice smart assistant, and can connect to several IoT devices via the Smart Things app. Like the QLED range, these TVs can also display the weather and artworks and come with 'Invisible Connection', a glass fiber cable that transmits both power and data.

Aimed at India users, Samsung's 2018 Concert lineup gets four 10-watt built-in speakers to offer loud volume and cinematic sound. The Concert Series comes in two variants: Smart Concert and Joy Concert. The Smart series comes with Bluetooth and supports Netflix, YouTube, JioCinema and Big Flix. The Concert series TVs are offered in 32-inch, 43-inch and 49-inch sizes, and start from Rs. 27,500.
Samsung is offering a free Galaxy S9 with QLED TVs
Further, Samsung has introduced an offer under which the company is offering a free Samsung Galaxy S9 with its QLED TVs and a free soundbar/speaker with select UHD TVs. The offer will be available across India till July 15.
