Rumored specs of the upcoming flip phone
SM-W2018 could be the successor to Samsung's W2017 flip phone launched this year. It is rumored to have two 4.2-inch FHD display panels (one on the outside and the other, inside) and is expected to come with high-end specs. W2018 is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and have 6GB of RAM, 64GB of inbuilt storage, and a 2,300mAh battery.
Phone could be exclusive to China
Samsung has neither revealed anything about the alleged phone officially nor has it confirmed that it is working on a smart flip phone. However, it is likely that W2018 would be released only in China; just like the other "W" flip phones.
Flip phone to have a fingerprint reader, too
The rumored Samsung flip phone would also house a 5MP front camera and a 12MP camera along with a fingerprint scanner on the rear panel. It would have a touchscreen panel on the outside and inside as well. Leaked images show there is a physical keypad along with navigation buttons inside. The phone is expected to run on Android 7 Nougat.
Is W2018 worth the price?
If the rumors are to be believed, the W2018 flip phone would be priced as high as $2,000 (approximately Rs. 1,30,000). Considering the specs and features the phone is expected to come with, the price seems too high.
