Samsung to launch new Galaxy A smartphones on April 10
As the latest addition to its revamped Galaxy A series, Samsung is working to launch new smartphones on April 10. The company has started sending out press invites for an event where it will "unveil its latest Galaxy A devices" And while Samsung has not specified any names, we expect it to announce Galaxy A90, A60, and A40 handsets. While Samsung has confirmed that it will launch multiple Galaxy A devices, we don't how many will the company introduce. Recent reports and leaks suggest there are several new devices in the pipeline including the Galaxy A90, Galaxy A70, Galaxy A60, Galaxy A40, and Galaxy A20e. But, we expect A90, A60, and A40 to go official on April 10.
Everything we know about Galaxy A90
The Galaxy A90 is likely to sport a 6.41-inch AMOLED display with a sliding and rotating camera. The phone is also said to come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Under the hood, it is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Lastly, it will run Android Pie-based One UI out-of-the-box.
What to expect from the Galaxy A60?
The Galaxy A60 is said to feature a 6.7-inch full-HD+ Infinity-U Super AMOLED display, 3D Glasstic body, and an in-screen fingerprint sensor. In the camera department, it will have a 32MP+8MP+5MP triple rear camera setup and a 32MP selfie snapper. Under the hood, it will come with an SM6150 chipset, 6GB/8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a 4,500mAh battery.
Here's what Galaxy A40 may offer
The Galaxy A40 was recently spotted on Samsung's German website, hinting at its imminent launch in Germany and other European countries. As per previous leaks, the phone will come with an Exynos 7885 chipset, 4GB of RAM and Android Pie-based One UI support. Lastly, MySmartPrice has claimed that the Galaxy A40 will be priced at EUR 249 (approximately Rs. 20,000).
