Samsung Tab S8 series launched in India at Rs. 59,000
Samsung has announced the prices of its latest flagship tablets, the Tab S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra, in India. The line-up starts at Rs. 58,999 for the base Tab S8 model. The tablets were unveiled on February 9 alongside the Galaxy S22 series of smartphones. They feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, a 120Hz screen, up to 16GB RAM, and S Pen support.

The devices offer a 120Hz display
The Samsung Tab S8 series flaunts a conventional rectangular display with slim bezels. The Tab S8 has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and bears an 11.0-inch QHD+ (2560x1600 pixels) LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The S8+ and S8 Ultra have an in-display fingerprint scanner. They sport 12.4-inch QHD+ (2800x1752 pixels) and 14.6-inch QHD+ (2960x1848 pixels) Super AMOLED displays with 120Hz refresh rate, respectively.
The tablets have a 13MP primary camera
The Tab S8 series sports a dual rear camera module, comprising a 13MP main sensor and a 6MP ultra-wide lens. Up front, the S8 and S8+ have a 12MP shooter while the S8 Ultra is fitted with two 12MP cameras.
They boot Android 12-based One UI 4
The Galaxy Tab S8 series draws power from a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, coupled with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of expandable storage. They boot Android 12-based One UI 4, house quad stereo speakers, and come bundled with an S Pen. The S8, S8+, and S8 Ultra pack 8,000mAh, 10,090mAh, and 11,200mAh batteries, respectively, with 45W fast-charging support.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series: Pricing and availability
The S8 costs Rs. 58,999 for the Wi-Fi (8GB/128GB) variant and Rs. 70,999 for the 5G (8GB/128GB) model. The S8+ costs Rs. 74,999 for the Wi-Fi (8GB/128GB) model and Rs. 87,999 for 5G (8GB/128GB) variant. The S8 Ultra is priced at Rs. 1,08,999 for Wi-Fi (8GB/128GB) model and Rs. 1,22,999 for 5G (8GB/128GB) variant. Pre-orders will be open between February 22 and March 10.
