What's the story
Just days ahead of the launch of Galaxy S10 flagships, Samsung has slashed the prices of Galaxy S9+ in India by Rs. 6,000.
Citing retail chain sources, 91Mobiles reported that the flagship phone now comes at a starting price of Rs. 57,900.
Further, the publication claimed that the price cut is "valid in the offline market only".

New prices
All variants of Galaxy S9+ have received a price cut
After the price revision, the base-end Galaxy S9+ with 64GB storage now costs Rs. 57,900 as against its old price tag of Rs. 63,900.
Likewise, the mid-end 128GB storage model and top-end 256GB storage variant have also received a price cut of Rs. 6,000 and are now available for Rs. 61,900 and Rs. 65,900 respectively.

Meanwhile, here's recalling the Galaxy S9+
Up front, the phone sports a curved display with slim top and bottom bezels. On the back, the glass chassis houses a dual camera setup and a fingerprint sensor.
Further, Samsung Galaxy S9+ features a 6.2-inch QHD+ (2960x1440 pixels) AMOLED display with 516ppi density, an 18.5:9 aspect ratio and is IP68-rated.

The Galaxy S9+ sports a dual rear-camera setup featuring a wide-angle 12MP main sensor with f/1.5-f/2.4 variable aperture, OIS, Dual-Pixel PDAF, paired with a 12MP (f/2.4) telephoto sensor with 2x optical zoom and OIS.
Up front, the phone gets an 8MP camera with an f/1.7 aperture.
The main camera is capable of recording 720p slow-motion videos at 960 fps and 4K videos at 60fps.

The flagship phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845/Exynos 9810 chipset (depending on region), paired with 6GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB/256GB of storage which can be further expanded by up to 512GB via microSD card.
The Galaxy S9+ packs a 3,500mAh battery with support for Qi-based wireless charging and runs Android Oreo-based Samsung Experience (Android Pie-based One UI update available).
