Samsung S22 Ultra screen flickering issue acknowledged; fix coming soon
Some early users of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra are experiencing weird screen flickering. The display, set to QHD+ resolution and on Natural color mode, starts flickering when users unlock the device using the in-display fingerprint sensor. Seemingly, only the Exynos edition of the phone is affected by the problem. Samsung has acknowledged the problem and promised a fix through a software update.

The phone has a 120Hz AMOLED screen
The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra comes with a 6.8-inch QHD+ (1440x3088 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It has a punch-hole cut-out for the front camera, slim bezels, curved edges, and an under-display fingerprint sensor. The handset also gets IP68-rated water resistance and uses Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ to protect the screen.
It offers 108MP main camera and 12MP ultra-wide snapper
The Galaxy S22 Ultra features a quad camera arrangement on the rear, including a 108MP primary sensor, a 10MP periscope lens with 10x optical zoom, a 10MP telephoto lens, and a 12MP ultra-wide snapper. At the front, it has a 40MP selfie camera.
Indian variant is powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset
The India-specific Galaxy S22 Ultra is fueled by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, mated with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of onboard storage. While the S22 has a 3,700mAh battery with 25W fast-charging support, the S22+ and S22 Ultra pack a 4,500mAh and 5,000mAh battery, respectively, with 45W fast-charging. All three handsets boot Android 12-based One UI 4.1.
