Limited Edition Galaxy S10+ to feature 12GB RAM, 1TB storage
Just days from now, Samsung will launch the Galaxy S10 lineup. Thanks to countless leaks, we know that these flagships will sport high-end features including Infinity-O display, ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and triple rear cameras. And now, a limited edition Galaxy S10+ variant, rumored to pack a whopping 12GB RAM and 1TB built-in storage, has been spotted on Samsung Philippines' website. Here's a sneak-peek.
This will be a premium S10+ variant
As per the glyphs of the Limited Edition S10+, this high-end variant will have the same design as the regular S10+ and should feature an Infinity-O display with dual front cameras. However, this premium model is rumored to come with a ceramic back panel, 12GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage which was recently announced by Samsung.
Limited Edition S10+ to go on sale on March 15
As per details available on the pre-order page of Samsung Philippines' website, the Limited Edition Galaxy S10+ will be available from March 15 onwards. Hence, considering Samsung launches its smartphones globally, we can expect this top-of-the-line model to arrive in other markets around mid-March itself. As for pricing, this exclusive S10+ is likely to be priced at $1,500 or approximately Rs. 1,07,000 in India.
And, S10-series likely to launch in India on March 6
Separately, multiple reports claimed that Samsung would launch Galaxy S10 series in India on March 6, with sales scheduled to start from March 15. The report also noted that S10 lineup will start at Rs. 50,000 for the base-end S10 Lite model whereas the premium S10 and S10+ will be priced at Rs. 65,000 and Rs. 75,000, respectively.
Meanwhile, here's what to expect from Galaxy S10 variants
The Galaxy S10 and S10+ variants will feature 6.11-inch and 6.44-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-O displays with curved edges, QHD+ resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio, respectively. The S10 Lite will feature a flat 5.75-inch Infinity-O display with 18.5:9 aspect ratio, QHD resolution, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. In comparison, the premium S10 and S10+ models will pack an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
Galaxy S10, S10+ will sport triple rear-camera
The Galaxy S10 and S10+ variants will sport a triple rear-camera setup - something we've been hearing for a while. However, up front, the larger model will sport a dual-camera layout housed in a pill-shaped display hole whereas the standard S10 will get a single selfie snapper. Further, the S10 Lite variant will pack a dual rear-camera setup and a single front camera.
All Galaxy S10 variants to get Snapdragon 855/Exynos 9820
All Galaxy S10 models will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or Exynos 9820 chipset (region dependent) and run Android Pie-based One UI. As per a recent leak, S10 Lite, S10, and S10+ will pack 3,000mAh, 3,300mAh, and 4,000mAh batteries, respectively. Moreover, S10 Lite is tipped to come in a solo 128GB storage option, S10 in 128GB/512GB models and S10+ in 128GB/512GB/1TB variants.
