Samsung to launch 10 AI-powered washing machines in India
Samsung India is set to revolutionize the domestic appliance market, with the introduction of multiple artificial intelligence (AI)-backed washing machines. The company plans to bring as many as 10 different models from its Bespoke AI series, ahead of the festive season starting in October. This strategic move aims to capitalize on the increased consumer spending during this period.
A glimpse into Samsung's AI washing machine
Earlier this month, Samsung provided a sneak peek of one of its front-loading AI washing machines. The company has not yet disclosed the specific features or specifications of these innovative appliances. However, it assures that they are designed with unique configurations specifically for the Indian market. These AI-enabled devices are part of Samsung's Bespoke series, which was unveiled in April at simultaneous events in Seoul, Paris, and New York City.
Bespoke series: A blend of intelligence and intuition
The Bespoke series is known for its intelligent and intuitive offerings, providing a personalized user experience. Samsung promises that these washing machines will offer a "smarter, more efficient, and eco-friendly" experience through a "whole suite of AI-powered features."
A look at potential features
Samsung's support page hints at potential features such as AI Control, which learns user habits like washing frequency, time of day, and preferred settings. Another feature, AI Wash, could detect fabric weight and softness, monitor soiling levels, and adjust water usage as well as detergent quantity. It may also control soaking duration along with rinsing and spinning times. These features aim to optimize electricity and water consumption for each wash cycle.
