Samsung's Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+, which were unveiled last week in New York, will launch in India on August 20. The company is sending out invites for the event that will be held at the Samsung Opera House in Bengaluru, starting 12 pm. Samsung's Note 10 costs Rs. 69,999 for the 8GB/256GB model while the bigger Note 10+ is priced at Rs. 79,999 for 12GB/256GB model. The price of the maxed-out 12GB/512GB Note 10+ variant is expected to be announced at the launch event. The handsets will go on sale from August 23 and their pre-bookings are currently live via all leading online and offline stores.

To recall, Galaxy Note 10-series features a new design with a center-aligned punch-hole display, curved edges, and a polished glass back that offers an iridescent shimmer. The Plus model houses a vertically-mounted quad lens camera setup whereas the standard variant offers a triple camera system. Further, both handsets house a redesigned S Pen and are the first Samsung flagships to lack a headphone jack.
All about the screen
While both handsets share the same design and built quality, the display is one of the key differentiating factors between the two. The standard Note 10 sports a 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080x2280 pixels) Dynamic AMOLED screen while the Note 10+ gets a bigger and sharper 6.8-inch QHD+ (1440x3040 pixels) display. Both handsets also come with HDR10+, Dynamic Tone Mapping, and integrated ultrasonic fingerprint sensors.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 10 offers a 12MP (f/1.5-2.4, OIS) main lens, a 16MP (f/2.2, 123-degree FoV) ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 12MP (f/2.1, OIS) telephoto lens. On the Note 10+, this triple lens camera setup is further joined by a DepthVision Camera for capturing 3D details and AR video. On the front, both models sport a single 10MP (f/2.2) selfie snapper.

The Galaxy Note 10-series is powered by the latest 7nm Exynos 9825 chipset. The standard model comes with 8GB RAM and 256GB of non-expandable storage whereas the Plus variant packs 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage (expandable up to 1TB). Under the hood, the Note 10+ has a 4,300mAh battery (supports 45W fast-charging) while the regular model gets a 3,500mAh battery (supports 25W fast-charging).
