Samsung launches new Galaxy wearables in India
Expanding its portfolio of wearable devices, Samsung has launched Galaxy Watch Active, Galaxy Fit, and Galaxy Fit e in India. The Galaxy Watch Active offers a bunch of features including Bixby voice assistant integration, AMOLED display, blood pressure monitoring, and activity tracking. On the other hand, the Galaxy Fit and Fit e are the dedicated fitness tracking devices. Here are the details.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active: Priced at Rs. 19,990
The Galaxy Watch Active features a 1.1-inch AMOLED display with 360x360 pixels resolution, Gorilla Glass 3 protection, and is IP68 rated. It is powered by an in-house Exynos 9110 chipset, paired with 768MB RAM and 4GB storage. The wearable runs on Tizen OS 4.0 and packs 230mAh battery with Qi wireless charging support.
Samsung Galaxy Watch Active: Your personal fitness coach
Galaxy Watch Active can be used as your personal fitness coach, thanks to its ability to track heart rate, exercise, and sleeping patterns. You can also monitor your blood pressure using the My BP app. Moreover, it offers a bunch of handy features including Bixby voice assistant, access to third-party apps, and ability to make calls and send messages without picking up the phone.
Samsung Galaxy Fit: Priced at Rs. 9,990
Weighing only 23 grams, the Galaxy Fit sports a 0.95-inch AMOLED display with 120x240 pixels resolution. The fitness tracking wearable runs on Realtime OS out of the box and comes with 2MB RAM, 32MB storage, and 120mAh battery. Further, it can pair up with your phone and display notifications about new messages, calls, alarm, and calendar events.
Samsung Galaxy Fit: The premium fitness tracking device
The Galaxy Fit is capable of tracking up to six activities via its Auto Workout Tracking feature. Apart from that, there is also a Samsung Health App that allows you to select upto 10 workouts from its rich library of more than 90 activities. Interestingly, the company claims that the device sends you an alert when the heart rate reaches a certain pre-defined level.
Samsung Galaxy Fit e: Priced at Rs. 2,590
The third device in the series, Galaxy Fit e features a 0.74-inch PMOLED display and runs Realtime OS. The wearable offers 128KB of RAM and packs a 70mAh battery which keeps it alive for 13 days on a single charge. Meanwhile, it is capable of tracking three activities which include walking, running, and dynamic workout.

The Galaxy Watch Active is up for grabs via Amazon, Samsung online store and major offline stores at a price of Rs. 19,990. The Galaxy Fit is retailing across all major online and offline sales channels at a price of Rs. 9,990. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Fit e costs Rs. 2,590 and is slated to go on sale from July 5.
