Samsung has launched its latest wireless earbuds, the Samsung Gear IconX (2018), in India today. Priced at Rs. 13,990, the new Gear IconX earbuds can also function as a standalone music player, thanks to its 4GB internal storage. It is available in only black color. Samsung Gear IconX gets touch gestures for music control
Samsung IconX comes with touch-based gestures which allow users to play, pause, skip, and browse music. The earbuds come with 4GB of internal storage and the music can be transferred either wirelessly or via a smartphone or PC. Users can select from five equalizer modes - Bass Boost, Soft, Dynamic, Clear, and Treble Boost, along with a separate control for ambient sound.
Samsung Gear IconX can track activity as well
The Gear IconX 2018 edition can also track activity and provide information related to distance, time and calories burned. Further, these earbuds can sync with Pace Setter feature on your Samsung Health app to provide in-ear coaching instructions.
Samsung Gear IconX: At a glance
The Gear IconX comes with Samsung's Bixby assistant and can pair with your smartphone to receive calls and provide notification alerts. These earbuds support USB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.2 and pack an accelerometer and a proximity sensor. Moreover, IconX earbuds support fast-charging; Samsung claims that the battery life is up to five hours of music streaming or seven hours of standalone playback.
