Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is selling like hot cakes everywhere
Samsung's Galaxy Z Flip foldable phone, which went official alongside the Galaxy S20 series, is selling like hot cakes. The premium handset went out of stock within minutes during its second sale in India on Friday. In China too, the $1,400 folding phone sold out in less than 10 minutes. However, Samsung has not disclosed the exact number of devices sold in these countries.
In India, deliveries will begin from March 2
According to Samsung, it will start delivering the folding phone in India from March 2 and buyers will get a premium white glove delivery service. For the uninitiated, the handset costs Rs. 1,09,999. In India, the Galaxy Z Flip also comes with accidental damage coverage, wherein buyers will get a free one-time screen protection and 24x7 dedicated customer support.

The Galaxy Z Flip comes with a flexible 6.7-inch Full-HD+ (1080x2636 pixels) AMOLED panel that is protected by an ultra-thin glass. On the outside, there is a 1.1-inch Super AMOLED display that lets you see notifications when the phone is closed. The hinge also uses a novel "Freestop folding technology" that allows you to open the handset at various angles for different use cases.

The Z Flip has a dual-lens external camera that includes a 12MP main sensor and a 12MP (123-degree FoV) ultra-wide-angle lens. The setup supports 4K video recording at up to 60fps as well as HDR10+ recording. On the inside, there is a 10MP selfie camera.

The Galaxy Z Flip is powered by a Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, combined with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of non-expandable storage. Under the hood, it runs on Android 10-based One UI 2 with a dedicated Flex mode multitasking feature and offers a combined battery capacity of 3,310mAh. The handset also supports 15W fast charging, wireless charging, and has a side-mounted physical fingerprint scanner.
