This is how Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 will look like
While we knew Samsung was working on a tablet to compete with Apple iPad Pro, most information related to the upcoming Galaxy Tab S6 remained speculative or suggestive. However, courtesy Android Headlines, we now have several high-quality renders of the new device which confirm key details of the new stylus-equipped Samsung tablet. Here's all about the tablet.
Galaxy Tab S6 will retain the design of Tab S5E
According to the renders, the Tab S6 will retain the design of Tab S5E with slim and proportional bezels on all sides, a metallic rear panel, and Pogo connector for connecting a keyboard. However, unlike its predecessor, the new tablet will feature a dual-lens rear camera and a groove for a color-matched Bluetooth-enabled stylus that is likely to attach magnetically and charge wirelessly.
It might also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor
To note, Tab S5E featured a physical fingerprint scanner that was housed within the power key. However, the button was not as evident as it is in Tab S6 renders. This change suggests the power key might not double up as a fingerprint reader on the upcoming tablet and that reports of an in-display fingerprint sensor might stand true.
Everything else we expect on the Tab S6
Further, according to a report, the Tab S6 will feature a 10.5-inch QHD+ AMOLED display, a 13MP+5MP dual rear camera, and an 8MP front-facing camera. It will be powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 855 chipset, paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of storage. Lastly, AKG-tuned stereo speakers, LTE support, Samsung Dex Mode, and 15-hours of battery life are also on the cards.
When will Samsung launch its new tablet?
Presently, there is no information on when Samsung plans to announce the Galaxy Tab S6. However, several reports suggest that the company might unveil the new tablet alongside the Galaxy Note 10 on August 7.
