Samsung to take on Apple's FaceID with Intelligent Scan?
SamCentral has reportedly spotted "Intelligent Scan" feature in Samsung's Settings app. SamCentral's Maxwell Weinbach uploaded a video on YouTube, explaining how the technology works. Galaxy S9 series design resembles the Galaxy S8 duo
Render leaks from VentureBeat's Evan Blass have suggested that the upcoming Galaxy S9 devices' design resembles last year's Galaxy S8 devices. Blass tweeted Samsung is following a traditional design approach; the Galaxy S9 would feature 5.8-inch display while S9+ would come with a 6.2-inch display like their predecessors. VentureBeat's report claimed Galaxy S9/S9+ are only a component upgrade for the company's flagship range.
S9+ 512GB storage variant may arrive in select markets
VentureBeat says both the Galaxy S9 devices would sport a QHD+ Super AMOLED display. They would be powered by Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 845 processor (US and China) and Samsung Exynos 9810 SoC (global variant). The S9 would have 4GB/6GB RAM while the bigger S9+ may come with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. Additionally, S9+ might come in a 512GB variant, too.
