Samsung Galaxy S24 FE to launch in late 2024
The tech industry is buzzing with anticipation for the launch of Samsung's low-cost flagship alternative, the Galaxy S24 FE. Originally predicted for a summer release, recent details now suggest a late 2024 launch. This Fan Edition variant continues the naming tradition of its predecessors, with its codename R12 following in the footsteps of models like the S20 FE (R8), S21 FE (R9), and S23 FE (R11).
Samsung Galaxy S24 FE: What we know so far
Despite the excitement surrounding the Galaxy S24 FE, specific details about the device remain unknown. However, based on the previous launches in the FE range, it is safe to say that the handset will borrow a slew of features from the existing S24 range. It will have a 120Hz AMOLED display, IP68 water resistance, a triple rear camera system, a 4,500mAh or bigger battery, and possibly a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

In addition to the Galaxy S24 FE, Samsung is also preparing for the launch of several other devices. These include Galaxy Z series foldable smartphones, Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 series tablets, Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 series smartwatches, and Galaxy Ring wearable. These new consumer products are likely to be announced in August this year.
