Samsung Galaxy S22, S22+, S22 Ultra now available in India
Samsung's recently-launched Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra models have gone on sale in India starting today. The flagship smartphones are up for grabs via Amazon, Samsung's e-store, and other authorized retail outlets in the country. The S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra boast a premium design, upgraded displays as well as cameras, top-tier performance, and run on the latest software.

The Galaxy S22 series is the most advanced range of smartphones from Samsung to date. In India, the range has received an excellent response. The company had garnered over 70,000 pre-bookings for the Galaxy S22 series in less than 12 hours when the order books were opened last month. According to Samsung, it is a new bookings record for its flagship smartphones in India.
The handsets feature a 120Hz AMOLED display
Samsung Galaxy S22 series sports a centrally-aligned punch-hole cut-out with slim bezels, an IP68-rated build quality, and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The S22 and S22+ feature a 6.1-inch and 6.55-inch Full-HD+ AMOLED display, while the S22 Ultra has a 6.8-inch QHD+ AMOLED screen. They have up to 120Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. The S22 Ultra also offers support for the new-generation S Pen.
The S22 and S22+ have a 50MP primary camera
The Galaxy S22 and S22+ provide a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 10MP telephoto lens. They have a 10MP selfie snapper on the front. The S22 Ultra gets a 108MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, and two 10MP telephoto lenses with 10x optical zoom. Up front, it boasts a 40MP selfie shooter.
The phones boot Android 12-based One UI 4.1
In India, the S22 series is backed by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor, paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of storage. The S22 houses a 3,700mAh battery with 25W wired charging, while the S22+ and S22 Ultra pack 4,500mAh and 5,000mAh batteries with 45W wired fast-charging. The handsets boot Android 12-based One UI 4.1 and pack stereo speakers.
Samsung Galaxy S22 series: Pricing and availability
The Galaxy S22 and S22+ start at Rs. 72,999 and Rs. 84,999, respectively, for their base 8GB/128GB variants. The S22 Ultra carries a price-tag of Rs. 1,09,999 for the entry-level 8GB/128GB model. Alongside various bank and exchange offers, buyers of the S22 handsets can purchase other Samsung products like Galaxy Buds Pro and Galaxy Watch 4 at just Rs. 2,999.
