Samsung's S20 Ultra surpasses sales expectations
Samsung's latest S20 flagship device didn't have the best start but the top-tier S20 Ultra seems to be exceeding the sales expectations. According to a report, the South Korean tech giant is ramping up the production of the 40MP front-facing camera and 12MP ultra-wide rear camera used by the S20 Ultra. The move is prompted by higher than expected sales of the $1,400-worth handset.
S20 Ultra is also the best-selling model in the S20-series
According to the report, the Ultra model is also the best-selling variant in the S20 range, contributing more than 50% to all the sales recorded by the new flagship series. This suggests that buyers are not going for the value proposition offered by the S20 but willing to spend way more for the high-end camera setup offered on the Ultra variant.
Meanwhile, here's recalling the S20 Ultra
